For the Chowan Basin...including Sebrell...Stony Creek...Franklin...
Minor flooding is occurring and is expected to continue. For the
Lower Roanoke Basin...including Windsor...Minor flooding is occurring
and is expected to continue.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please use extreme caution if venturing near riverbanks. Move to
higher ground immediately should rising water threaten your safety.

  The Nottoway River At Sebrell
* from this morning until further notice...or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At 04:15 AM Saturday the stage was 15.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late this morning and continue
  to rise to near 17.6 feet by Monday evening.
* At 18.5 feet...Hancock Peanut Mill is affected in Courtland.
This river level is comparable to a previous crest of 17.9 feet on
Dec 29 2015.

* At 03:30 AM Saturday the stage was 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  later this morning.
* At 16.0 feet...Lowlands on the right hand side upstream of the
  gage begin to flood.

  The Blackwater River Above Franklin
* until Sunday evening...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 03:45 AM Saturday the stage was 11.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 10.8 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 11.6 feet by this
  afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage tomorrow early
  afternoon.
* At 11.8 feet...A portion of State Route 611 in Southampton County,
  Joyners Bridge Road, is innundated. A portion of State Route 619,
  in Isle of Wight County, is flooded.

* At 04:15 AM Saturday the stage was 9.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to around 9.6 feet later
  today...then fall to below flood stage by Monday afternoon.
* At 10.0 feet...Moderate flooding, portions of Liverman Park Zoo,
  Granville Street, King Street, and Queen Street innundated.
