A river flood warning remains in effect for the Trinity River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons are urged to stay away from the river until water levels recede.

Motorists should avoid any water covered roads and find an alternate route.

Livestock and equipment should remain out of the flood plain for the next few
days.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Trinity River Near Crockett
* until further notice...or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0531 PM Friday the stage was 44.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 47.1 feet by Wednesday early
  afternoon. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* At 48.0 feet...Major lowland flooding begins. Most ranches along the river
  experience flooding problems with many rural roads underwater.
