...The flood warning continues for the following river in Kansas...

  Neosho River At Iola affecting Allen County.

  Neosho River Near Chanute affecting Allen and Neosho Counties.

  Neosho River Near Erie affecting Neosho County.

  Neosho River Near Parsons affecting Labette and Neosho Counties.

  Neosho River Near Oswego affecting Cherokee and Labette Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Shallow
flowing water can wash a car from the roadway.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Neosho River At Iola.
* Until Monday afternoon.
* At 3:01 PM Sunday the stage was 16.6 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 18.4 feet by
  early Monday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Monday
  afternoon.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet...The gravel road below the low water dam on
  west side of river floods as well as agricultural fields.

  The Neosho River Near Chanute.
* Until Tuesday afternoon.
* At 2:31 PM Sunday the stage was 25.0 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 29.4 feet by
  early Monday afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage
  Tuesday early afternoon.
* Impact...At 30.0 feet...Flood waters flow across old Highway 169 at
  .5 miles south of the gage site or 2 miles north of Chanute.

  The Neosho River Near Erie.
* Until Wednesday morning.
* At 2:15 PM Sunday the stage was 29.7 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 35.5 feet by
  Monday evening then will fall below flood stage Wednesday
  morning.
* Impact...At 36.0 feet...The intersection of Main Street and just
  south of 7th Street becomes flooded to a depth of near 10 inches
  for a distance of 10 to 15 yards.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Neosho River Near Parsons.
* Until Thursday morning.
* At 2:01 PM Sunday the stage was 21.0 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 26.1 feet by
  early Tuesday morning then will fall below flood stage by early
  Thursday morning.
* Impact...At 23.0 feet...Flood waters spread over fields to a
  distance of 1 and one fourth miles. Several county roads, mainly
  along the left bank are inundated. Several residents which live
  along the right bank in the vicinity of Highway 400 may experience
  water entering their homes at basement levels.

* From this afternoon until Thursday afternoon.
* At 1:00 PM Sunday the stage was 15.2 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late this afternoon and
  continue to rise to near 23.2 feet by Tuesday morning. The river
  will fall below flood stage by Thursday early afternoon.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet...Xavier Road leading north from the river
  gage bridge floods. Also 13000 Road next to the left river bank
  becomes affected by flood waters.
