THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DENVER HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN WASHINGTON COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO...

* UNTIL 200 AM MDT TUESDAY

* AT 753 PM MDT...EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED CONSIDERABLE SMALL
  STREAM FLOODING OVER SOUTHEASTERN WASHINGTON COUNTY SOUTH OF AN
  AKRON TO OTIS LINE. TWO TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN IN
  SOME PLACES SINCE LATE THIS AFTERNOON.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  OTIS...PLATNER...THURMAN...ANTON...ELBA...ARICKAREE SCHOOL AND
  COPE.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING STREAMS AND DRAINAGES...JACK CREEK...
BRUNKER CREEK...GORDON CREEK...NORTH FORK ARIKAREE RIVER...ARIKAREE
RIVER AND SURVEYOR CREEK.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS BEEN REPORTED.
STREAM RISES WILL BE SLOW AND FLASH FLOODING IS NOT EXPECTED.
HOWEVER...ALL INTERESTED PARTIES SHOULD TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS
IMMEDIATELY.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...AS WELL AS FARM AND COUNTRY ROADS. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES.
