...The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has issued a flood warning
for the following rivers...

  Lake Creek at The Woodlands affecting the following counties in Texas...
  Montgomery


For the West Fork San Jacinto River at The Woodlands, minor flooding is
occuring, with river levels forecasted to decrease.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive or walk into flooded areas the depth and water velocity could
be too great for you to cross safely. Motorists should avoid any water
covered roads and find an alternate route.

  The Lake Creek at The Woodlands.
* until late tonight...or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0145 PM Wednesday the stage was 138.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 138.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by this
  evening.
