The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Madison County in north central Alabama...

* Until 945 PM CDT

* At 346 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in Northern
  and Northwestern Madison County. Up to two inches of rain have
  already fallen, most of which fell in a short period of time. As a
  result, several small creeks and streams are overflowing their
  banks, and a couple of roads are closed as a result. Firefighters
  report that the road at the intersection of Beaver Dam Road and
  Pulaski Pike is in the process of being barricaded, with a few
  other reports of lesser flooding ongoing closer to the Limestone
  County line.  Please use caution if traveling in these areas in
  the next few hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal, Meridianville, Hazel Green,
  Alabama A And M University, Marshall Space Flight Center,
  University Of Alabama In Huntsville, Harvest and Elkwood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
