...The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

  Colorado River Above above Silver affecting Coke County

Heavy rain from the past couple of days has caused the Colorado River at Silver to rise to 14.7 feet at 8 pm this evening. The river will crest at 15 feet early Sunday morning which is just at flood stage. Flood stage is 15 feet. The river will fall below bankfull by Sunday afternoon.

The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Colorado River Above above Silver.
* from late tonight to Sunday afternoon...Or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  8:00 PM Saturday the stage was 14.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to near flood stage after
  midnight tomorrow.
* Impact...At 15.0 feet...Minor flooding will occur. Oil equipment and
  ranch land will be threatened.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.7 feet
  on Apr 23 1981.
