FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA
AND EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
402 AM EDT WED SEP 2 2015

.DISCUSSION...
WEAK HIGH PRESSURE AT THE SURFACE WILL CONTINUE TO PREVAIL
OVER THE REGION WHILE UPPER RIDGING WILL BUILD ALOFT. EXPECT
GENERALLY RAIN FREE CONDITIONS TODAY THOUGH AN ISOLATED
SHOWER CANNOT BE RULED OUT IN THE CSRA AND SOUTHERN MIDLANDS.

IT WILL BE ANOTHER VERY WARM DAY WITH HIGHS IN THE MID 90S.
SOME PATCHY FOG IS EXPECTED THIS MORNING DUE TO STRONG
RADIATIONAL COOLING OVERNIGHT. OTHERWISE...FAVORABLE
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED WITH MIXING HEIGHTS AROUND 6000 FT
AND TRANSPORT WINDS BETWEEN 5-10 MPH GENERALLY FROM THE
WEST TO SOUTHWEST. MIN RH VALUES ARE EXPECTED TO FALL
BETWEEN 35 AND 40 PERCENT. MOISTURE WILL INCREASE LATER
IN THE WEEK AND BRING INCREASED CHANCES OF RAIN BY FRIDAY.
