FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHEAST TEXAS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HOUSTON/GALVESTON TX
351 PM CST THU JAN 29 2015

.DISCUSSION...
A COLD FRONT MOVING ACROSS THE AREA THIS EVENING WILL BRING DRIER
AND COOLER CONDITIONS FRIDAY. A BRIEF WINDOW FOR PATCHY FOG AHEAD
OF THE COLD FRONT EXISTS FOR THE COASTAL COUNTIES BEFORE MIDNIGHT
TONIGHT...BUT ANY THAT DEVELOPS WILL DISSIPATE QUICKLY AS THE
FRONT MOVES INTO THE GULF. LOW FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH THE WEEKEND AS MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITIES REMAIN ABOVE 40
PERCENT...WITH LIGHT NORTHEASTERLY 20 FOOT WINDS BEHIND THE FRONT
BECOMING MORE SOUTHERLY AHEAD OF THE NEXT COLD FRONT. THE CHANCE
FOR WETTING RAINS INCREASES ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...WITH ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE ON SUNDAY. A SECOND...STRONGER COLD FRONT
WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA ON SUNDAY...BRINGING BREEZY NORTHERLY
WINDS AND A BRIEF END TO RAIN CHANCES BY MONDAY.
