Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR The Florida Keys
National Weather Service Key West FL
618 AM EDT Sat Sep 23 2017

.Discussion...A weak pressure pattern will continue for the
weekend due to Maria east of the Bahamas, and high pressure to
the north. Cyclonic flow aloft with light easterly flow in the low
levels, and ample moisture would suggest at least a high chance
of showers. The only thing lacking is a good lifting mechanism.
Any lifting that occurs will be in the guise of lingering, or
propagating outflow boundaries off activity from the Florida
Peninsula or Cuba. No changes will be required in this forecast
cycle.
