FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
457 AM EDT Sun Apr 23 2017

...Frequent chances for precipitation through the upcoming week...

.DISCUSSION: A cold front moving through will bring much cooler
conditions to the area today along with small chances for rain
and snow in the morning. The cold front will move back across
Upper Michigan tonight and there may be some snow, especially
over the northwest. Expect warmer and drier weather for Monday
before rain returns Monday night into Tuesday over much of
Upper Michigan. Another system will bring more rain over Upper
Michigan Tuesday night into Wednesday and it may be cold enough
for a wintry mix of rain, freezing rain and snow over western
and north central Upper Michigan. Another system will bring more
widespread precipitation later Wednesday into Thursday and again
there may be snow. A dry day looks in store for Friday but more
precipitation could return next weekend as the weather pattern
stays wet.
