...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

LIMITED MID LEVEL MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY WILL LEAD TO A FEW
SHOWERS OR BRIEF THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE SOUTHERN SIERRA AND CENTRAL
NEVADA ZONES TODAY AND SATURDAY. THE REST OF THE REGION WILL SEE
MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES AND GENERALLY LIGHT WINDS. A CIRCULATION ALONG
THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA COAST BEGINS TO PULL MOISTURE FROM ARIZONA
INTO SOUTHERN NEVADA LATE SUNDAY INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. THIS WILL
LEAD TO A RETURN OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE REGION.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

HIGH TEMPERATURES FOR THE NEXT WEEK WILL BE NEAR TO SLIGHTLY BELOW
AVERAGE WITH TODAY AND SATURDAY THE WARMEST DAYS. THE MARINE LAYER
AND WEAK ONSHORE FLOW WILL MAINTAIN HIGHER HUMIDITIES FOR COASTAL
AND VALLEY AREAS. A WEAK LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OFF THE SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA COAST MAY DRAW A SMALL AMOUNT OF MID LEVEL MOISTURE INTO
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AT TIMES INTO TUESDAY...MOSTLY ACROSS THE SAN
BERNARDINO COUNTY MOUNTAIN AREAS INTO THE ADJACENT UPPER DESERTS.
SOME MID LEVEL CLOUDS ARE POSSIBLY...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE MOUNTAINS
IN THE AFTERNOONS...BUT CHANCES FOR ANY PRECIPITATION ARE SMALL.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

VERY DRY CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST TODAY BEFORE MOISTURE BEGINS
FILTERING BACK INTO OUR AREA TONIGHT. THIS WILL BRING A CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS TO THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS ON SATURDAY BUT THE LOWER
DESERTS WILL REMAIN DRY. WITH THE ADDITIONAL MOISTURE, AFTERNOON
MINIMUM HUMIDITY WILL INCREASE, ALBEIT SLIGHTLY, TO NEAR 15% FOR
THE DESERTS WHILE HIGHER ELEVATIONS WILL RANGE BETWEEN 20-25%.
OTHER THAN THE USUAL UPSLOPE GUSTINESS, RELATIVELY LIGHT WINDS WILL
PREVAIL.
