...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

WARM AND DRY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE REGION THROUGH
EARLY NEXT WEEK. BREEZY CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR ALONG THE LOWER
COLORADO VALLEY, ESPECIALLY ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY. THE NEXT CHANCE
FOR PRECIPITATION COMES LATE NEXT WEEK AS A STORM SYSTEM MOVES
THROUGH THE AREA.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A WARM AND DRY AIR MASS WILL CONTINUE OVER THE REGION TODAY AND
SATURDAY. ISOLATED EASTERLY BREEZES ARE EXPECTED IN THE FOOTHILLS
THIS MORNING. WEAK ONSHORE FLOW RETURNS TONIGHT AND SATURDAY FOR AN
INCREASE IN HUMIDITY NEAR THE COAST. OFFSHORE FLOW WILL DEVELOP
SUNDAY CREATING LOCALLY STRONG SANTA ANA WINDS THAT WILL PEAK MONDAY
MORNING. VERY LOW HUMIDITY WILL DOMINATE INLAND AREAS. ON MONDAY
SOME HIGHER HUMIDITY MOVES INTO THE REGION FROM THE NORTH THROUGH
THE HIGH DESERT SO THE LOWEST HUMIDITY MAY NOT GET INTO THE SINGLE
DIGITS. SANTA ANA WINDS WILL BE STRONGEST MONDAY MORNING WITH
HIGHEST GUSTS TOPPING 55 MPH MOST LIKELY IN A CORRIDOR FROM CAJON
PASS INTO ORANGE COUNTY. WINDS WILL DECREASE MONDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH TUESDAY. FIRE DANGER WILL BE HIGHEST SUNDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH MONDAY. ONSHORE FLOW AND MORE HUMID WEATHER INCREASES
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY ALONG WITH A CHANCE OF SHOWERS.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

STRONG HIGH PRESSURE WILL PERSIST INTO THE WEEKEND...KEEPING HIGH
TEMPERATURES WELL ABOVE SEASONAL NORMALS EACH DAY. MINIMUM HUMIDITY
LEVELS WILL STAY IN THE TEENS OVER THE DESERTS EACH DAY WITH FAIR TO
GOOD OVERNIGHT RECOVERY ALL DISTRICTS. EXPECT LIGHT DIURNALLY DRIVEN
SURFACE WINDS AND SLOPE FLOW...AND POOR TO MARGINAL SMOKE
DISPERSION.
