...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

DRY AND WARM CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED FOR MOST AREAS TODAY. AREAS OF
GUSTY WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS ARE LIKELY THIS AFTERNOON AS A COLD
FRONT APPROACHES. GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS AND COOLER TEMPERATURES WILL
FOLLOW BEHIND THE FRONT TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY WHILE THE AREA REMAINS
UNDER A DRY NORTHWEST FLOW ALOFT. GRADUAL WARMING WILL TAKE PLACE
LATER IN THE WEEK WHILE MOST OF THE AREA REMAINS DRY. HOWEVER...THE
SIERRA WILL HAVE A CHANCE OF LIGHT SNOW STARTING WEDNESDAY NIGHT
THROUGH THE REST OF THE WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

INCREASING ONSHORE FLOW AND A DEEPENING MARINE LAYER WILL BRING
HIGHER HUMIDITIES THROUGH TONIGHT WITH GUSTY WEST WINDS FOR THE
MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS. WEAK OFFSHORE FLOW WILL BRING LOWER
HUMIDITIES AND GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS WITH ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER
CONCERNS ON WEDNESDAY BELOW THE CAJON PASS AND IN THE COASTAL
FOOTHILLS OF THE SANTA ANA MOUNTAINS. ONSHORE FLOW WILL RETURN
TOWARDS THE END OF THE WEEK THROUGH NEXT WEEKEND WITH HIGHER
HUMIDITIES SPREADING INLAND AND WITH PERIODS OF GUSTY WEST WINDS IN
THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

HUMIDITIES WILL BE ELEVATED TODAY WHEN AN INFLUX OF LOW LEVEL
MOISTURE RAISES MINIMUM RH VALUES INTO THE 30 TO 40 PERCENT RANGE
FOR MUCH OF THE DESERTS. MID AND HIGH LEVEL CLOUDS WILL ALSO BE ON
THE INCREASE. TEMPERATURES WILL HOVER NEAR AVERAGE FOR EARLY
DECEMBER WITH WINDS FOLLOWING TYPICAL DIURNAL AND DRAINAGE PATTERNS.
