.DISCUSSION...
SLIGHTLY WARMER AND DRIER CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL OVER THE
PRESCRIBED BURN TODAY COMPARED TO YESTERDAY AS MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES
COMBINE WITH LIGHT WINDS AND ADEQUATE MIXING. A WEAK THERMAL
TROUGH WILL DEVELOP WEST-EAST ALONG THE NORTH SLOPES OF THE ALASKA
RANGE SOUTH OF THE PRESCRIBED BURN TODAY.

THE THERMAL TOUGH WILL THEN LIFT AND STRENGTHEN TOMORROW...MOVING
JUST NORTH OF THE FIRE BY FRIDAY AFTERNOON. THIS WILL PROMPT THE
WINDS TO SHIFT FROM THE SOUTHEAST TO SOUTHWEST DURING THE
AFTERNOON ON FRIDAY. ISOLATED SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP
AFTER NOON AND PRECIP CHANCES WILL THEN PERSIST FRIDAY NIGHT.
