.DISCUSSION...

Hot and dry conditions expected today with early clouds to start
this morning. Humidity values are near 85 percent as of 8am and
this will decrease to a minimum of 30 percent through the mid-
afternoon hours. Clouds will also clear through the morning with
mostly clear skies expected through the afternoon. Eye-level winds
will initially be calm to 5 mph from the south. Winds are expected
to increase to near 10 mph with gusts to near 15 mph at times this
afternoon in a well-mixed boundary layer. Winds may shift from the
south more to the southeast through the afternoon. Heat index
values will reach upwards of 105F by mid-afternoon.
