.DISCUSSION...

High pressure over the burn on Tuesday will slowly weaken
Wednesday through Thursday over the burn site. On Tuesday and
Wednesday, winds will be mostly light and variable, with a narrow
afternoon window of upcanyon (south) winds. Isolated showers and
thunderstorms creep into the area on Wednesday afternoon and may
create brief gusty winds (if any shower develops). Thursday winds
will be strongest of this week, particularly after 1500 LT, when
showers and thunderstorms could produce erratic 25 mph wind gusts
on the fire. Even if showers don`t develop on Thursday, a distinct
wind shift a from southerly to northerly is likely after 1800 LT.
