SPOT FORECAST FOR WEST FORK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SALT LAKE CITY UT
853 AM MDT WED MAY 25 2016

.DISCUSSION...RELATIVELY STABLE AND DRY CONDITIONS WILL LIMIT
BUILDUPS AND SHOWER POTENTIAL THROUGH MUCH OF TODAY...BUT A STORM
SYSTEM MOVING INTO ARIZONA TONIGHT WILL ALLOW FOR ISOLATED SHOWERS
TO BUILD LATE AFTERNOON/EVENING AND CONTINUING THROUGH TOMORROW
MORNING...BUILDING FURTHER TOMORROW AFTERNOON.

CLEARING WILL REMAIN EXCELLENT TODAY WITH WINDS TRENDING
SOUTHERLY AROUND OR SHORTLY AFTER 0900. SPEEDS SHOULD LARGELY
REMAIN IN THE 8 TO 12 MPH RANGE BUT OCCASIONAL GUSTS TO 20 MPH ARE
POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON.

FLOW WILL TREND NORTHWESTERLY TOMORROW AS THE STORM SYSTEM SHIFTS
EAST-SOUTHEAST OF THE AREA. INCREASED MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY
WILL AID FOR SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED STORMS TO BUILD LATE
MORNING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON WITH A 30 PERCENT CHANCE OF WETTING
RAINS/SNOW PELLETS OCCURRING AT THE SITE. RH WILL BE HIGHER
THROUGH THE DAY WITH SURFACE WINDS TRENDING NORTHERLY IN THE 5 TO
10 MPH RANGE. UNSETTLED WEATHER WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY WITH
PRECIP POTENTIAL LARGELY DIURNAL IN NATURE.
