CENTRAL MAINE...EASTERN MAINE...FAR NORTHERN MAINE...INTERIOR
DOWNEAST MAINE...NORTH CENTRAL MAINE...NORTHERN MAINE AND WEST
CENTRAL MAINE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

LOW PRESSURE FROM THE GREAT LAKES IS EXPECTED TO APPROACH SUNDAY
NIGHT WITH A SECONDARY LOW DEVELOPING ALONG THE MAINE COAST MONDAY.
HOWEVER...THE EXACT TRACK OF THE SECONDARY LOW IS STILL UNCERTAIN.
SNOW WILL BEGIN TO DEVELOP LATER SUNDAY NIGHT ACROSS MOSTLY THE
BANGOR AND DOWNEAST AREAS...THEN EXPAND ACROSS THE REST OF THE
REGION MONDAY. SNOW TOTALS WILL BE DEPENDENT ON THE EVENTUAL TRACK
OF THE SECONDARY LOW. PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO BE IN THE FORM
OF SNOW ACROSS THE REGION...HOWEVER...A RAIN/SNOW MIX COULD OCCUR
ALONG THE DOWNEAST COAST BY MONDAY AFTERNOON. SNOW WILL THEN
DIMINISH FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST MONDAY NIGHT. PLEASE MONITOR
FORECAST UPDATES FOR THE REGION OVER THE NEXT 24 TO 36 HOURS FOR
POTENTIAL WINTER WEATHER HEADLINES WITH THIS EVENT.
