ILLINOIS...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EAST
CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

...WINTER STORM WARNING CONTINUES IN EFFECT FOR HEAVY SNOW FOR
THE I80 CORRIDOR IN AND AROUND THE QUAD CITY AREA THROUGH 3 PM
CST...

A HEAVY BAND OF SNOW WILL PRODUCE 6 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOWFALL AND
LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS THROUGH MID AFTERNOON IN CEDAR...CLINTON...
MUSCATINE AND SCOTT COUNTIES IN IOWA. THE ILLINOIS COUNTIES IN THE
WARNING ARE ROCK ISLAND...WHITESIDE...AND HENRY COUNTIES. THESE
AREAS HAVE BEEN UPGRADED TO A WINTER STORM WARNING THAT REMAINS IN
EFFECT THROUGH 3 PM CST. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS BEEN
EXPANDED SOUTH TO THE WASHINGTON IOWA...BURLINGTON...AND TO THE
MONMOUTH ILLINOIS AREAS FOR 2 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW ACCUMULATION.
AREAS NORTH AND WEST OF THE WARNING CAN STILL EXPECT 4 TO 6 INCHES
OF SNOW BY MID AFTERNOON WHEN THE SNOW STARTS TO EXIT OFF TO THE
EAST OF THE AREA.

SNOW AND SLUSH ON ROADWAYS WILL LEAD TO HAZARDOUS DRIVING
CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON. BE SURE TO SEE THE WINTER STORM
WARNING AND WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY PRODUCTS FOR MORE INFORMATION.
