  TIDAL POTOMAC FROM KEY BRIDGE TO INDIAN HEAD MD...

AT 907 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SHOWER...CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS. THIS SHOWER WAS LOCATED WEST OF
ALEXANDRIA...MOVING EAST AT 10 KNOTS. THIS WILL BRING BRIEF HEAVY
RAINFALL TO THE UPPER POTOMAC WHICH WOULD REDUCE VISIBILITY TO AS
LOW AS ONE MILE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
