AT 135 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS
LOCATED 7 NM SOUTH OF THE CENTER OF CROATAN SOUND...MOVING NORTHEAST
AT 15 KNOTS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
AR145...AR160...OREGON INLET...PEA ISLAND NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE...
AR140 AND KILL DEVIL HILLS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.
