...GALE WARNING IN EFFECT FOR THE GULF WATERS TODAY UNTIL 6 AM
MONDAY MORNING....

.A STRONG AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE ACROSS THE SOUTH CENTRAL
UNITED STATES THEN UP THE EAST COAST BY MONDAY. WEST TO NORTHWEST
WINDS OF GALE FORCE ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE OVER THE GULF WATERS
THIS EVENING, BUT SHOULD BEGIN TO DECREASE AND DROP BELOW WARNING
CRITERIA BY EARLY MONDAY MORNING. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY WILL
LIKELY BE NEEDED FOR ALL OR PARTS OF THE GULF WATERS BEYOND THIS
TIME. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY CONTINUES FOR THE COASTAL LAKES AND
BAYS. WATER LEVELS HAVE BEGUN TO RESPOND TO THE STRONG OFFSHORE
FLOW, AND LOW WATER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THIS
EVENING ON THE COASTAL LAKES AND BAYS, PERSISTING THROUGH AND
INCLUDING MONDAY MORNING.

OCCURRING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 21 TO 33 KNOTS
ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS WAVE CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT.
INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER
VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.

A LOW WATER ADVISORY MEANS WATER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO BE
SIGNIFICANTLY BELOW AVERAGE. MARINERS SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION
AND TRANSIT AT THE SLOWEST SAFE NAVIGABLE SPEED TO MINIMIZE
IMPACT.
