URGENT - MARINE WEATHER MESSAGE

...STRONG WINDS AND DANGEROUS SEAS WILL REDEVELOP TONIGHT...

.Gusty west-southwest winds will develop late this evening and
gradually diminish late tonight into Thursday morning. Gusts up to
40 knots are expected for the southern and central waters
including Pamlico Sound. Seas will build to 7 to 10 feet overnight
and gradually subside on Thursday.

THURSDAY...

The National Weather Service in Newport/Morehead City has issued
a Gale Warning, which is in effect from 11 PM this evening to
7 AM EST Thursday.

* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 35 kt.

* SEAS...2 to 4 feet.

* WAVES...2 to 4 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

The National Weather Service in Newport/Morehead City has issued
a Small Craft Advisory, which is in effect from 10 PM this
evening to 10 AM EST Thursday.

* WINDS...Southwest 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt.

* WATER LEVELS...1 to 2 feet below normal for western portions
  overnight into Thursday morning.

* WAVES...Rough.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 25 to 33 knots
and/or seas of 6 feet or greater are expected to produce
hazardous wave conditions to small craft. Inexperienced mariners,
especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid
navigating in these conditions.

A low water advisory means water levels are expected to be
significantly below average. Mariners should use extreme caution
and transit at the slowest safe navigable speed to minimize
impact.
