...Strong north to northwest winds will develop late tonight and
Saturday...

.Strong north to northwest winds will develop behind a cold front
after midnight across central Kansas and expand across southeast
Kansas toward dawn on Saturday morning. These strong and gusty
winds will continue across the entire area through early afternoon
on Saturday.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 4 PM CST SATURDAY...

The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 6 AM to 4 PM CST Saturday.

* Winds...Northwest at 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* Timing...of the strongest winds will be from around dawn on
  Saturday morning through early afternoon.

* Impacts...include strong and sudden wind gusts and potential
  for hazardous travel for high profile vehicles due to cross-
  winds on east-west oriented roads and highways.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A wind advisory means that sustained winds of at least 30 mph
and/or wind gusts over 45 mph are expected.  Winds this strong
can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
Use extra caution.
