THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SHREVEPORT HAS ISSUED A LAKE WIND
ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM TO 9 PM CST SUNDAY.

* EVENT...AS A DEEP LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES EAST OF THE
  AREA...STRONG GUSTY WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25
  MPH...WITH GUSTS OVER 35 MPH...WILL OCCUR AREAWIDE.

* TIMING...WINDS WILL INCREASE BY MID MORNING...AND CONTINUE
  THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING HOURS.

* IMPACT...THE GUSTY WINDS WILL PRODUCE A ROUGH CHOP ON OPEN
  WATERS AND MAKE FOR A DIFFICULT CROSS WIND ON THE HIGHWAYS...
  ESPECIALLY ALONG INTERSTATE 30.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A LAKE WIND ADVISORY INDICATES THAT WINDS WILL CAUSE ROUGH CHOP
ON AREA LAKES. SMALL BOATS WILL BE ESPECIALLY PRONE TO CAPSIZING.
