...WIND ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has cancelled the Wind
Advisory for the White Mountains of Inyo County, as well as
Esmeralda and central Nye counties.

North winds were gusting 25 to 35 mph over much of the area, but
were staying under 40 mph. The wind advisory has been cancelled.

Advisory for northwest San Bernardino County.

North winds gusting 25 to 35 mph are still expected, but gusts
over 40 mph are no longer expected. The wind advisory has been
cancelled.

...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST SUNDAY...

* TIMING...Winds will increase this afternoon and last through
  Sunday afternoon in southern Nye and western Clark counties.

* WINDS...Northeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph. Winds
  will likely be isolated and increase and decrease suddenly.

* IMPACTS...Strong crosswinds are possible on northwest to
  southeast roads and highways. Areas of blowing dust and sand are
  possible. Unsecured structures, signs, or holiday decorations
  may be damaged or blown away.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means strong winds gusting over 40 mph can make
driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. Use
extra caution.

  Death Valley, but remain breezy, before picking up again Sunday
  and lasting through Sunday afternoon.

* WINDS...North winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph.

* IMPACTS...Strong crosswinds are possible on west or eastbound
  roads and highways. Areas of blowing dust and sand are
  possible. Unsecured structures, signs, or holiday decorations
  may be damaged or blown away.
