Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will prevail across the eastern
Gulf through early next week. A surface trough will develop over
the Yucatan Peninsula each afternoon and evening, then move W
into the SW Gulf and dissipate overnight.

.OVERNIGHT...Variable winds less than 10 kt, becoming S 10 kt
after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SAT...SW winds 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SAT NIGHT...S winds 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SUN...SW winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SUN NIGHT...S winds less than 10 kt. Seas 3 ft.
