New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Tropical Storm Jose was
located near 39.6N 68.2W, or about 130 nm SE of Nantucket, at
11 AM EDT, and is nearly stationary with maximum sustained winds
to 50 kt. Jose will drift W to near 39.6N 68.9W by 8 AM EDT Fri,
and to 39.5N 69.2W by 8 PM EDT Fri night, while gradually
weakening and becoming post-tropical. Post-tropical Jose will
then drift back eastward Sat through Sun while continuing to
weaken before dissipating Mon. S to SE swell from Hurricane Maria
will impact the area Sat through Mon night. Refer to the latest
National Hurricane Center advisories for Tropical Storm Jose and
Hurricane Maria. Otherwise, a high pres ridge will persist inland
just NW of the area today through Sat night, then will shift NW
of the waters Sun and Mon.
