Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. .SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...High pressure centered W and NW of the area will move farther W and SW away from the waters tonight through Sat night while becoming weaker. Strengthening high pressure will slowly build E towards the N and central coast later Sun and Sun night then expand to the N and NW of the area Mon and Mon night, and persist into Tue night. The area of high pressure to the N and NW of the area begins weakening Wed and Wed night. A weak coastal trough will be along the N and central coast will persist through Sat and Sat night, then strengthen again over the N and central coast later Sun into Sun night. The coastal trough will intensify later Mon through Tue night along the N and central coasts and become weaker Wed and Wed night.
