...RED FLAG WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM AKDT SATURDAY FOR
STRONG WIND AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR THE COPPER RIVER BASIN...

* 20 FT WINDS...SOUTH WINDS 5 TO 15 MPH DURING THE AFTERNOON AND
  EVENING HOURS FRIDAY. SOUTH WINDS 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35
  MPH DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS SATURDAY.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...10 TO 15 PERCENT DURING THE AFTERNOON AND
  EVENING HOURS TODAY AND SATURDAY RECOVERING ABOVE 50 PERCENT BY
  MIDNIGHT EACH NIGHT.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE UPPER 70S TO LOWER 80S.

* TIMING...HUMIDITIES ARE EXPECTED TO FALL TO CRITICAL VALUES
  DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS THROUGH SATURDAY. SOUTH
  WINDS WILL DEVELOP EACH AFTERNOON AND EVENING ALONG THE COPPER
  RIVER...BUT WILL BE SUBSTANTIALLY STRONGER ON SATURDAY
  AFTERNOON/EVENING.
