THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
  PARTS OF SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
  EXTREME NORTHWEST TEXAS

* EFFECTIVE THIS FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 155 PM UNTIL
  1000 PM CDT.

* PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
  A FEW TORNADOES LIKELY
  SCATTERED LARGE HAIL LIKELY WITH ISOLATED VERY LARGE HAIL EVENTS
    TO 2.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE
  ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE

SUMMARY...STORMS ARE INTENSIFYING IN SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA...AND
ADDITIONAL STORM DEVELOPMENT IS POSSIBLE A LITTLE FARTHER EAST THIS
AFTERNOON.  THE STORMS WILL LIKELY SPREAD EASTWARD AND NORTHEASTWARD
TOWARD CENTRAL OKLAHOMA THROUGH THE AFTERNOON...WHILE OTHER STORMS
MOVE INTO SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA FROM NORTH TEXAS.
THE STORM ENVIRONMENT IS SUPPORTIVE OF THE RISK FOR A FEW TORNADOES
AND ISOLATED VERY LARGE HAIL...IN ADDITION TO A FEW DAMAGING GUSTS.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 55 STATUTE
MILES NORTH AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 5 MILES NORTH OF ALTUS
OKLAHOMA TO 30 MILES SOUTH SOUTHEAST OF MCALESTER OKLAHOMA.  FOR
