...Moderate to occasionally heavy snow to impact the area this
evening...

At 7:15 pm, a band of moderate to occasionally heavy snow was
impacting south central Montana. This area of snow will make travel
difficult, as roads become snow packed and slick, and visibilities
get reduced. The heaviest snow was from around Roundup to Pompeys
Pillar to Hardin to Lodge Grass, with this band drifting west to
southwest. Expect visibilities to be reduced below one mile at
times, with a quick 1 to 3 inches of accumulation through the
evening.

The snow will decrease late this evening.

Locations impacted include...
Billings, Sheridan, Hardin, Columbus, Roundup, Hysham, Custer,
Laurel, Ranchester, Dayton, Bridger, Joliet, Fromberg, Lodge Grass,
Ryegate, Melstone, Worden, Huntley, Deadmans Basin Reservoir and
Pryor.
