...DENSE SEA FOG MOVING INLAND...

SURFACE OBSERVATIONS AND WEBCAM REPORTS INDICATE DENSE SEA FOG IS
BEGINNING TO MOVE INLAND ACROSS THE COASTAL COUNTIES OF SOUTHEAST
SOUTH CAROLINA. VISIBILITIES WERE GENERALLY 2 TO 4 MILES OUTSIDE
OF THE FOG...BUT WERE BETWEEN 1/4 MILE AND ZERO IN THE FOG. THE
MOST DENSE FOG WAS LOCATED ALONG AND EAST OF THE INTRACOASTAL
WATERWAY AS WELL AS UP THE BROAD RIVER. VISIBILITIES WILL
CONTINUE TO DROP ACROSS SOUTH COASTAL SOUTH CAROLINA
OVERNIGHT...AND A DENSE FOG ADVISORY WILL LIKELY BE NEEDED FOR
SOME AREAS BY 4 AM MONDAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR REDUCED AND RAPIDLY FLUCTUATING
VISIBILITIES. ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION.

THE LATEST INFORMATION FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.

...AREAS OF DENSE FOG DEVELOPING...

AREAS OF DENSE FOG ARE BEGINNING TO FORM ACROSS PORTIONS OF
INTERIOR SOUTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA EARLY THIS MORNING. VISIBILITIES
WERE GENERALLY 2 TO 4 MILES...BUT WERE 1/4 MILE OR LESS IN THE
MOST DENSE FOG. THE FOG WILL BECOME MOST DENSE IN AREAS SUCH AS
SWAMPS...RIVERS...MARSHES AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS THROUGH 4 AM
MONDAY. MORE WIDESPREAD DENSE FOG IS POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT AND A
DENSE FOG ADVISORY MAY BE NEEDED.
