...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT RUSH AND ELLIS COUNTIES THROUGH
245 AM CDT...

At 147 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles south of Palco to
10 miles northwest of Gray. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Ellis, McCracken, and Alexander around 155 AM CDT.
  Yocemento, Nekoma, and Hargrave around 200 AM CDT.
  Hays and Antonino around 205 AM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include La Crosse,
Schoenchen, Liebenthal, Munjor, Catherine, Rush Center, Toulon,
Victoria, Bison, Emmeram, Loretta, Timken, Pfeifer and Walker.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
central and west central Kansas.
