...SNOW ENDING...BUT SOME SLIPPERY CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTHERN
PENNYRILE REGION OF WESTERN KENTUCKY MAY CONTINUE...

SNOW WILL END BY 10 PM. MOST LOCATIONS RECEIVED AN INCH OR
LESS...WITH MUCH OF THAT MELTING UPON LANDFALL. THERE APPEARS TO
HAVE BEEN A VERY NARROW STRIP FROM JUST EAST OF PENROD IN
MUHLENBERG COUNTY...TO NEAR AND JUST EAST OF HOPKINSVILLE...THAT
RECEIVED UP TO AROUND 2 INCHES. ROADWAYS WERE WHITENED THERE EVEN IF
THE ENTIRE ACCUMULATION DID NOT REMAIN.

AFTER 10 PM...ROADS MAY BE WET...OR SLIGHTLY WHITENED IN THE
HEAVIER LOCALES...AND TEMPERATURES WILL SOON DIP TO THE FREEZING
MARK. THAT MEANS SOME SLICK PATCHES MAY OCCUR. THE BEST CHANCE OF
SLICK SPOTS WILL BE ON ELEVATED SURFACES SUCH AS BRIDGES AND
OVERPASSES.

PATCHY FOG THAT DEVELOPS UNDER A CLEARING SKY WITH WETTED GROUND
MAY ALSO FORM AN ICY SLICK SPOT ON ROADS AND WALKWAYS.

IF YOU HAVE TRAVEL PLANS TONIGHT AND EARLY SATURDAY MORNING...PAY
ATTENTION TO WEATHER AND ROAD CONDITIONS. DRIVE ACCORDINGLY.
