...INCLEMENT MONSOON WEATHER PERSISTS OVER YAP STATE AND PALAU...

A MONSOON TROUGH RUNS BETWEEN YAP AND KOROR THROUGH A DISTURBANCE
CENTERED ROUGHLY NEAR 6N144E...OR ABOUT 480 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
YAP AND 670 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF KOROR. HEAVY SHOWERS ARE
DEVELOPING MAINLY OVER YAP STATE AND NORTHEAST PARTS OF THE
REPUBLIC OF PALAU.

THE DISTURBANCE HAS BECOME POORLY ORGANIZED AND SLOW MOVING...BUT
IS EXPECTED TO EDGE TOWARD WEST OR WEST-NORTHWEST OVER THE NEXT

MICRONESIA...ESPECIALLY FOR YAP STATE TONIGHT OR TUESDAY. AREAS
OF HEAVY RAIN ARE LIKELY NEAR THE MONSOON TROUGH AND INCLEMENT
WEATHER CONDITIONS MAY PERSIST THROUGH THIS WEEK.

IF YOU ARE OPERATING SMALL BOATS OR PLANNING INTER-ISLAND TRAVEL
