The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  South central Sioux County in south central North Dakota...

* Until 730 PM CDT

* At 653 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 10 miles southwest of Shields, or 14 miles west of
  Selfridge, moving southeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  south central Sioux County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This Tornado Warning replaces the Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued
for the same area.
