URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...WINTER STORM TO IMPACT TRI-STATE REGION...

.A winter storm will impact the region this weekend. Snow will
begin as early as tonight, and continue through Sunday evening.
Snow will be heavy at times. Also anticipate some changes to rain
depending on your location and the temperatures. Impacts begin
tonight for the winter storm warning area while heavy snow may
not be observed until Saturday evening for areas covered by the
winter storm watch.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM MDT /7 PM
CDT/ SUNDAY...

* Snow Accumulations...6 to 10 inches.

* Timing...Tonight through Sunday afternoon

* Winds...North 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Impacts...Heavy wet snow is expected to fall tonight through
  Saturday morning. Snow or a rain snow mix will fall through
  the day on Saturday. Precipitation becomes all snow once again
  for Saturday evening through Sunday. Expect reduced visibility
  below one half mile at times due to heavy snow and blowing
  snow. Power outages are likely from falling trees and power
  lines.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning means that significant amounts of snow...
sleet...or ice are now occurring or are imminent. Travel will
become very hazardous or impossible. Check the latest weather
forecast before venturing outside.

* Snow Accumulations...6 to 10 inches.

* Timing...Saturday evening through Sunday evening

* Winds...North 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* Impacts...Heavy wet snow is expected to fall beginning
  Saturday evening, persisting through Sunday evening. Expect
  reduced visibility below one half mile at times due to heavy
  snow and blowing snow. Power outages are possible from falling
  trees and power lines.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow...sleet...or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
