EVENING...

* TIMING...ANOTHER BAND OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE
  MOVING EASTWARD ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS TODAY.
  THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL OCCUR FROM LATE MORNING THROUGH MID-
  AFTERNOON...BEFORE THE SNOW TAPERS OFF FROM WEST TO EAST LATE IN
  THE DAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW WILL FALL ACROSS MOST
  OF THE AREA...WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES FOCUSED
  ALONG AND NORTHWEST OF THE ILLINOIS RIVER.

* WIND...SOUTHEAST WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MPH ARE EXPECTED...WITH GUSTS
  OF 20 TO 25 MPH TODAY.

* MAIN IMPACT...SNOW-COVERED ROADS WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL
  CONDITIONS. BRISK SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS WILL CAUSE SOME BLOWING
  AND DRIFTING SNOW AS WELL.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
