* EVENT...RAIN AND FREEZING RAIN WILL TRANSITION OVER TO SLEET AND
  FINALLY OVER TO SNOW AS COLD AIR DEEPENS OVER THE FOUR STATE
  AREA. THE MIX OF FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET AND CHANGE TO SNOW WILL
  PRODUCE SLIPPERY ROAD CONDITIONS WITH TEMPERATURES NEAR AND
  BELOW FREEZING...ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES AND SOME
  LESS TRAVELED ROADWAYS.

* TIMING...THROUGH THE LATE NIGHT AND MORNING HOURS THURSDAY.

. IMPACT...FREEZING RAIN AMOUNTS WILL VARY AROUND ONE QUARTER
  OF AN INCH WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS...FOLLOWED BY SLEET AND
  SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE TO THREE INCHES...MAKING DRIVING
  CONDITIONS EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS ALONG AND NORTH OF THE INTERSTATE
  20 CORRIDOR.

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF ICE...SLEET
AND SNOW ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING...MAKING TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS
