The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has cancelled the
Winter Weather Advisory for the western Uinta Basin. Light snow
will be turning showery late this afternoon.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM MST
TUESDAY...

* AFFECTED AREA...The Southern Wasatch Front, West Central Utah,
  and the Sanpete and Sevier valleys.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Additional accumulations of 2 to 6 inches.

* TIMING...Snow heavy at times through this evening before
  diminishing overnight.

* IMPACTS...Winter driving conditions are expected with snow
  covered roadways and poor visibility. The evening commute will
  be affected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means that significant
accumulations of snow are expected or occurring. Driving
conditions may be hazardous. Use caution. Keep a winter storm
survival kit in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

* AFFECTED AREA...The Wasatch Mountains from I-80 southward,
  Western Uinta Mountains, Wasatch Plateau, Book Cliffs, and
  Central Mountains.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Additional accumulations of 3 to 6 inches
  near Interstate 80 increasing to 6 to 12 inches central Utah
  mountains.

* TIMING...Snow heavy at times through this evening before
  diminishing overnight.

* WINDS...Gusts to around 60 mph along exposed ridgelines
  resulting in blowing snow.

* IMPACTS...Winter driving conditions are expected with snow
  covered roadways and poor visibility on all mountain routes,
  including both commutes through Parleys Canyon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning means a mixture of heavy snow and strong
winds are expected or occurring. Driving conditions may be
hazardous. Use caution. Be prepared for sudden restrictions in
visibility due to blowing snow. Keep a winter storm survival kit
in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Additional accumulations up to 2 inches.

* TIMING...Snow will diminish this evening.

* WINDS...West winds gusting to 30 mph will cause blowing snow
  across southwest Wyoming through this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Winter driving conditions are expected with snow
  covered roadways and poor visibility. Both the morning and
  evening commutes will be affected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that visibilities will be limited
due to a combination of falling and blowing snow. Use caution
