...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN DAWSON COUNTY
THROUGH 615 PM CDT...

At 524 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Moorefield, or 9 miles northeast of Curtis, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Dawson
County, including the following locations... Farnam.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 212 and 220.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
