* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Norton County in northwestern Kansas...

* Until 1245 AM CDT.

* At 1221 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles east of
  Norton, moving north at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Almena around 1225 AM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for northwestern
Kansas.
