...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 AM EDT THIS
MORNING FOR CENTRAL HABERSHAM AND STEPHENS COUNTIES...

At 921 AM EDT, Since midnight, between 2.5 and 4 inches of rain had
fallen in the warned area.  Despite only scattered showers expected
for the rest of the morning, locally excessive runoff will linger,
and please remain wary of the probability of encountering flooded
and/or barricaded roads.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Toccoa, Clarkesville, Cornelia, Baldwin, Demorest, Mount Airy,
  Lake Hartwell, Boydville, Hollywood, Turnerville and Eastanolee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
