.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
High pressure to distant northeast continues to move east and
weaken as a trough develops northwest of the islands. A cutoff
low is forecast to develop northwest of the islands along the
surface trough by Wednesday, causing wind directions to veer from
a more southeasterly direction. Thunderstorms and heavy showers
may develop near Kauai waters from Thursday onward.

.TODAY...East winds 15 to 25 knots. Wind waves 4 to 7 feet.
Northwest swell 3 feet. Isolated showers.
.TONIGHT...East winds 15 to 20 knots. Wind waves 3 to 6 feet.
Northwest swell 3 feet. Isolated showers.
.WEDNESDAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots. Wind waves 4 to 7 feet.
Northwest swell 3 feet. Scattered showers.

Alenuihaha Channel...east to southeast 10 to 20 knots elsewhere.

.THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY...East to southeast winds 15 to 30
knots Alenuihaha Channel... southeast 10 to 20 knots elsewhere.
Wind waves 6 to 9 feet. Northwest swell 2 to 3 feet. Scattered
showers. Numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms near Kauai
waters.
.SATURDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 20 knots. Wind waves 4 to
7 feet. Northwest swell 2 to 3 feet. Scattered showers. Numerous
showers and isolated thunderstorms near Kauai waters.
