...River Statement For The Tennessee River at Florence...

Fluctuating river levels are expected to continue on the Tennessee
River at Florence. Although it is not expected to reach flood stage,
some nuisance flooding of lowlands may still occur. If additional
rainfall occurs, the river could still reach Flood Stage.

The Tennessee River at Florence.
* At 8:15 PM CST Saturday the stage was 16.2 feet.
* Action stage is 16.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.3 feet
  just after midnight tonight. It will then rise to 16.6 feet early
  Monday afternoon. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet...Flooding of McFarland Park begins.


All persons with interests along the river should monitor the latest
forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect
life and property from rising river levels.Additional information is
available at www.weather.gov.
