...River Statement For The Big Nance Creek Big Nance Creek at
Courtland...

Runoff from rainfall is expected to cause river levels to rise
rapidly on the Big nance at Courtland. Although it is not expected
to reach flood stage, some nuisance flooding of lowlands may still
occur. If additional rainfall occurs, the river could still reach
Flood Stage.

The Big Nance Creek at Courtland.
* At 1:00 PM CST Friday the stage was 13.2 feet.
* Action stage is 12.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will crest at 13.9 feet just after midnight
  tonight. It will then fall below 12.0 feet early Monday morning
  and remain below flood stage.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet...Lowland flooding begins on the left bank
  of the river.


All persons with interests along the river should monitor the latest
forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect
life and property from rising river levels.Additional information is
