...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Illinois...

  White River near Petersburg and Hazleton.

  Wabash River from Lafayette to Mount Carmel, except for Clinton.

.Minor flooding continues along a large majority of the Wabash River
from Lafayette downstream to Mount Carmel, along with the extreme
southern portions of the White River near and downstream of
Petersburg. River levels will steadily fall in the coming days with
only light precipitation amounts in the forecast. Flooding will come
to an end along much of the remaining areas of the Wabash and White
Rivers in the next 12-24 hours, with flooding along the Wabash from
Hutsonville downstream ending by Wednesday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Vincennes.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Considerable agricultural flooding extends
  from just north of the junction of Illinois 33 with Business 50 to
  the St. Francesville, Illinois area.  River Road from Lincoln
  Memorial Bridge to Billett Rd is impassable.  Extensive seep water
  forms behind Illinois levees extending from Russellville to U.S.
  Highway 50.  Flooding of agricultural land begins in Knox County
  Indiana west of the railroad extending for the Oaktown area to the
  north side of Vincennes.  Extensive flooding of Small Creek.

  - At 9:45 AM EDT Sunday /8:45 AM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 16.7
    feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:45 AM EDT Sunday /8:45 AM CDT Sunday/ was 16.9
    feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Tuesday morning and continue falling and remain below flood
    stage.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Mount Carmel.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Flood waters begin to affect residents of
  East Mt. Carmel, Indiana. Fifth Street that parallels river
  closes.  Twin restaurant along the river also closes.  Several
  local river roads flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM EDT Sunday /8:00 AM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 22.1
    feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 AM EDT Sunday /8:00 AM CDT Sunday/ was 22.3
    feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.2
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
    Wednesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, In agricultural season, extensive flooding
  of bottomlands and some of the higher bottomlands is in progress.
  High water surrounds residents in river cabins.  Oil fields and
  local roads flood.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Tuesday morning and continue falling and remain below
    flood stage.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Lowland flooding begins to flood several
  Pike County roads.  Many of the following county roads begin to
  flood around this level...east of SR 57 include CR 750N...CR 600N
  and CR 1000E.  Pike county road subject to flooding west of SR 57
  include...CR 250 W...CR 400W...CR 675N...CR 700 N...CR  1000w...CR
  900W...CR 700W and CR 775W.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 AM EDT Sunday /8:30 AM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 17.8
    feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:30 AM EDT Sunday /8:30 AM CDT Sunday/ was 21.2
    feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late this evening and continue falling and remain below flood
    stage.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Riverton.

* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, High water surrounds elevated river
  cabins.  County roads to these cabins are impassable.
  Agricultural flooding is in progress.  Seep water develops behind
  levees.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM EDT Sunday /8:00 AM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 18.8
    feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 AM EDT Sunday /8:00 AM CDT Sunday/ was 19.0
    feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Wednesday afternoon and continue falling and remain below
    flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

* WHEN...Until late Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Leaverton Park in Palestine and park in
  Hutsonville begin to flood.  Agricultural flooding spreads to
  higher land.  Seep water is noticeable behind levees.  Some
  elevated river cottages are surrounded by water.  Several county
  or township roads east of Lincoln Heritage Trail between Palestine
  and Hutsonville in Crawford County Illinois are impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - There is no current observed data.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late Wednesday morning and continue falling and remain below
    flood stage.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Several hundred acres of bottomlands along
  the right bank from the mouth of Sugar Creek to northern edge of
  Montezuma begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 15.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:45 AM EDT Sunday was 16.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late
    tomorrow morning to 10.7 feet Friday morning. It will then
    rise to 10.9 feet early Saturday morning. It will fall to 8.3
    feet Tuesday, April 30 then rise again.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

  agricultural fields begins in far western part of Tippecanoe
  County.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:30 AM EDT Sunday was 12.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    this afternoon and continue falling and remain below flood
    stage.

  them in the vicinity of SR 63 on the west side of the Wabash River.

    feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:30 AM EDT Sunday /8:30 AM CDT Sunday/ was 18.7
    feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage early
    tomorrow afternoon to 11.7 feet early Saturday morning. It
    will then rise to 11.9 feet early Saturday afternoon. It will
    fall to 8.9 feet Tuesday, April 30 then rise again.
  - Flood stage is 16.5 feet.

  Backyard flooding of cottages on right bank starts a short
  distance upstream of gage.  Critical stage of Young-Neal Levee is
  reached.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 16.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:45 AM EDT Sunday was 16.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will oscillate above flood stage with a
    maximum value of 16.4 feet this afternoon. It will fall below
    flood stage just after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
