Showers and a few storms will develop over the region beginning late tonight and will continue into Thursday evening. Rainfall amounts generally around one half inch, locally higher under thunderstorm downpours. An active, periodically wet pattern will continue into next week with on again, off again chances for rain. The wet pattern combined with the rapid growth of vegetation with help mitigate any fire weather issues. Temperatures will be near average Thursday through Saturday and rise to above average Sunday into much of next week.
