  MICHIGAN CITY IN TO NEW BUFFALO MI...
  LAKE MICHIGAN MICHIGAN CITY IN TO ST. JOSEPH MI 5 NM OFF SHORE TO
  MID LAKE...

AT 1252 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A BROKEN LINE OF SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS FROM
33 NM NORTH OF NEW BUFFALO TO 23 NM WEST OF BURNS HARBOR...MOVING
EAST AT 25 KNOTS. THIS ACTIVITY WILL LIKELY PUSH INTO FAR
SOUTHEASTERN PORTIONS OF LAKE MICHIGAN BETWEEN 230 AM EDT AND 3:00
AM EDT. ANOTHER LINE OF MORE WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE
WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 40 KNOTS AS IT MOVES THROUGH THESE SAME
AREAS BETWEEN 300 AM EDT AND 400 AM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES... AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD CONSIDER SEEKING SAFE
