THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
  LAKE MICHIGAN MICHIGAN CITY IN TO ST. JOSEPH MI 5 NM OFFSHORE TO
  MID-LINE OF LAKE....
  MICHIGAN CITY IN TO NEW BUFFALO MI...
  NEW BUFFALO MI TO ST JOSEPH MI...

AT 738 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS
LOCATED 22 NM NORTHWEST OF MICHIGAN CITY...MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT
30 KNOTS. ADDITIONAL STORMS WILL LIKELY DEVELOP OVER THE OPEN WATERS
THIS EVENING AND COULD ALSO IMPACT THE NEARSHORE WATERS THROUGH 10
PM EDT...9 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.

THIS STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL LIKELY PRODUCE WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...
AND COULD POSE A SERIOUS HAZARD FOR BOATERS. A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING
MAY EVENTUALLY BE REQUIRED WHEN THIS STORM REACHES THE NEARSHORE
WATERS. BOATERS SHOULD CONSIDER HEADING FOR SHORE BEFORE THE STORM
ARRIVES.
